Mark Lewis founded Oculus Advisors and has worked as an independent corporate financier for some 15 years.
Previously, Mark was a Director at HSBC Investment Bank and he also worked in corporate finance at Charterhouse Bank and Ernst & Young.
He has a wealth of experience in mergers, acquisitions, financings and investing across various sectors, countries and regions, but with a focus on capital intensive industries and transportation-related activity. He has been a short-list nominee for UK Private Equity Advisor of the Year.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Mark has primary responsibility for our activities in Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Gavin Rowland is a co-founder of Oculus Advisors and has worked closely with Mark Lewis, both at HSBC and subsequently.
Prior to joining Oculus Advisors, Gavin was a Director at HSBC Investment Bank, in the Global Transport & Logistics team. Previously, Gavin worked for Samuel Montagu in corporate finance and as an investment manager at Montagu Investment Management.
Gavin has over 30 years of experience and has advised on successful deals with a total value of some US$20 billion.
Based in London, England, Gavin has primary responsibility for our activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Michael Earby joined Oculus Advisors in 2015, based in London. Previously, Michael was an Investment Manager at Pencarrow Private Equity, New Zealand’s longest established private equity manager. Michael commenced his career with KPMG in Wellington, New Zealand in both Corporate Finance and Audit roles.
Michael has several years’ experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestments and investment appraisal across a range of industries. In addition, he has completed a number of independent advisory engagements, including strategic reviews, due diligence, financial modelling and valuations. Michael is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
